Just waiting for my daughter to ring, which will be when she has parked her car up the road. I will then walk up to meet her and put her windscreen cover on and pre-ice the car.

Don't like leaving a warm house to do it though!

Copied from FB as I am actually too tired to type now :rotfl: :

Located correct 'thingies', recommenced drilling, wall wouldn't budge.

Tried for 20 mins - still no chance.

Stu called in on his way home from work like a knight in shining hi-vis. He tried for 10 minutes. Still barely a dent....

Stu mentions house is built from magic impenetrable bricks that resolutely refuse to be drilled into.

Have given up. Will bluetac picture over dodgy wall. My arms are shaking from the effort! :o

Becks - I learned to wire a plug after the second time Stu nearly electrocuted me with his attempts! :D

Apparently I did have the right bit in (by sheer chance I think!), and it's a fairly powerful hammer drill ( so Stu says...I have no idea), but the bricks are awful, and apparently this is why we have nothing hanging on our walls!

Does Bob the Builder have any single mates with similar skills? :D

I know 'how' to wire one but the practice of changing the fuse (the ruddy easy bit after all!) came crashing down on me ;)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
