But still cheaper than using the tumble dryer!
It just speeds things up - I guess it depends on the heat level you generally have if your heaters are up high anyway your washing will dry pretty quickly.0 -
Why not go to the local laundrette to dry some of your washing? We regularly take towels and bedding to the laundrette - £1 in the dryer usually covers it and it stops the condensation in the house and washing all over the place£2 Savers Club #156!
Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0 -
If you are in a rented property, especially a flat, you may not be allowed to use a gas heater for safety reasons. Gas also kicks out a lot of water, if you have condensation now the problems will get worse. As you have E7 you aren't really making the best use of it - you should be using more units at night than in the day. Again as you have E7 you will probably find it cheaper to dry laundry at home not in the laundrette.
For heating bedrooms buy electric underblankets, for the living area it will probably be cheaper having storage heaters on high input on nightrate electricity than using the electric bar heater on twice-the-price dayrate. If you have an electric power shower, start timing showers and/ or turn the water off whilst you are soaping or shampooing up.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
