IE won't render pages

OK, I'm completly stumped. About a week ago, IE stopped working. I don't know why, it might have been related to an update, I don't use IE often enough to pinpoint the exact time it stopped working.

All I get is a blank page whenever I try to go to any site. It won't even load an error message. Anything that uses the IE render also doesn't work. I've tried resetting all IE options to default, clearing the cache and temporary files, I ran a windows sfc check, and I've just updated to the IE7 beta, and that doesn't work.

I'm completly out of ideas. It's not a major problem, since I use Firefox for my day to day browsing, but there are occasions where I need to use IE so I'd like it fixed. I just have no idea what the problem could be.
