Adding someone to your credit card

My husband has no credit score whilst mine is excellent. Would adding him to my credit card account help him build a record? Effectively it would be an extra card on my account, would we need to have a joint account for it to have any effect?

no it wont help him one bit need to get this own cards why try his bank or one of these
