An easy question for someone , I hope !
Until recently when typing in an address on ie8 there was never a need to type in www, it always inserted it automaticaly. ie7 has always done it I believe.
Now all I get is http inserted and it never finds the site.
It has to be a simple setting that's got "unset"

Most web site adresses ("URL's") assume that the address is 'www'. Only certain sites need a different starting part.0

It may help you to know that if you type the domain name in the address bar, and then hold down the Ctrl key and press Enter at the same time, it automatically adds www. and .com and goes striaght to that site.0
