Hi Dragon, can I join in too please? I've been staring at figures all day today and decided to set myself a target of being debt free by August 2012, which is 28 months from now.......but, then, I came across this thread.
Its one month less, but I know I can do it. My total debt at the moment is £22,704.72 (used to over £26k). My loan stands at £21,854.72, and this is a fixed fee that goes out every month. I also owe my DH £850. Once I've paid him back, I'll open an online savings account which I plan to "topup" every month until I have enough to clear the loan early. That would mean I could pay the loan off two years early and be debt free before my 43rd b/day. :jTotal debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
