I've now done my yearly update for my student loan and found that I have paid £651 through salary deductions for the last tax year. :j

So my new total paid to date is £2648.34. And my student loan is coming down nicely.

    Hope everyone ok.
  • Oh dear. Not happy right now as my debt has just gone up. I had to have a service done on my car and a LOT needed doing to it.

    It cost me £387.46 :mad::mad::mad:

My new total, therefore, is £8,686.54 if you could update it please Dragon?

If only I had saved enough to cover it. Instead, it's gone on to my mint credit card.

Evening all, been a while since we last posted... Quite a few payments made - £357.09 to be exact which takes our:

New Total Paid to Date = £1024.01 :T:T:T
Total Percentage Paid = 9.4% (I think! Maths was never my strong point)

So, the total is going down, and I'm happy to see the percentage going up:j

Still not paying as much as we'd hope and having a bit of a nightmare with a few potential new charges (very loooong story which could mean our total debt going back up ) But, hopefully that will get sorted.
Total debt at LBM... £16,815.02

Nothing new paid off for me since my last post but I have moved some from my T card to a new V card at 0% interest. Sig updated with new card £s

I've been sticking really hard to my spending budget for food and have just not been going to the shops. It has been working really well, apart from the small blip when DS had to go back to Uni and needed a food shop:(

Oh well, can't let him starve I suppose :)

Had to have my car serviced and that has set me back £225, however I have been transferring money into another account to cover car expenses and had reckoned on £200 so I wasn't far out.

Keep up the good work everyone.

    Hi

Don't worry the Dragon hasn't been around for a few days to update (last updated the front page list on 8th April and I can see you joined after that). Don't worry she will go through the posts with a fine tooth comb and add you very soon.

Welcome to our challenge by the way:beer:
