Ok, so I've paid off £235 to my Virgin CC today.
Should be paying more off next Monday or TuesdayLBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
I need a vent today. Feeling very depondent about my debts. Every time I see a light at the end of the tunnel something happens to make it disappear again. I am trying to live my life so that I don't feel too hard-done-by with all the money going towards my debts.
I've been struggling to get by on what I budget myself every month for food/going out etc but it never seems to be enough.
So I've amended my budget to give me a bit extra and now my debt free date has increased by half a year!!
I'm just fed up with struggling and want this to all be over.
Anyway, vent over. At least it's the weekend!!LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Hi!
I don't really think I can clear my debts 2012 but I'm very inspired by even the idea of it! I'm a total newbie & still not quite sure how this all works, but can I join this group and see how much I can lower my debt by then?!

Hi Michelle,
You're in the right place for a vent, so vent away! I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes its such an uphill struggle and you wonder if you'll ever get it all paid off. Other times I'm so motivated and can't wait to put aside every penny towards my debt. I don't think an extra six months is the end of the world if it makes the journey a little easier. We have to have some treats! Hope you enjoy your weekend, then onwards and upwards again...:)0 -

Hi Scooby,
Welcome to the thread. Dragon will sign you up next time she comes on. There's probably quite a few of us who might not be completely debt free by 2012 but its still good to join in and get some motivation. Work your way slowly around the site and get some ideas on money saving and money making and maybe join another challenge. I'm part of the Make £10 a day challenge, which I thought would be impossible, but take a look at my signature. We're a friendly bunch on all the threads so anything you need just ask. Good luck with your debt busting.0 -

Hi scoobylicious, some people know they will not clear the whole lot (mortgages etc in there!) so they opt to clear a chunk of it (maybe a couple of credit cards or a personal loan, something along those lines), anyway think about it and when you know let me know how much debt you want to shift during this run upDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
