I know the feeling, I am also resisting paying debt so I stop getting bank charges/credit card charges! Also have had to get small credit union loan to consolidate and pay off some of the horrible payday loans I've had for the last 12 months so debt is currently slightly higher than it was .
Cutting back spending is happening though am *slowly* getting into better habits!
Will update my total again when my debt figure has finally gone down again
Well done everyone by the way, keep up the good work!!! :TProud to be dealing with my debts!! :j0 -
Hurrah!! Finally posting to tell you I've paid some money off. Want to just do one of these posts a month so that it includes all interest n stuff. So I'll post every month after my barclaycard statement around the 15th. Have paid a total of £445.48 leaving me with £13832.76 still to pay.
However, thanks to this site, I successfully claimed back PPI on a loan I have so hoping to make a HUGE payment towards the end of the month once the cheque clears!!
Good Luck everyone

Is it just me, or is it a little disturbing that I've waited until after midnight to view my statement online so I can post an update? And also, I actually now look forward to my statements coming through rather than leaving them unopened? My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

Me too CherryPie! I'll also often get up at 6am (previously unheard of for me!) to check internet banking, make payments and update snowball as soon as my wages have cleared.
Well done on the PPI! :TTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0
