  • I've waited so long for this! I'm so excited! I am finally making my first payment since joining the thread in early January. I joined just after I'd made my monthly payments so had to wait nearly a full month untill the next payments. But anyway, here it is:

    £503.78

And I think I can pay a chunk extra later this month so that'll be a bit more.

Dragon I can't wait to get my first percentage. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this thread. :T
  • Start of another month, so another £120 off for me please

    This is like pulling teeth!!

No sooner do I make a payment, than I find another debt to pay.

Dragon could you add £215 to my total owed please. See my signature for clarification if you need to on my totals.

I changed energy supplier and owed my old one £215. I've made an arrangement to pay over three months so not so bad I guess.

    Come on!! Onwards and upwards!!

Because we don't have to pay Council Tax and Water Rates this month I have paid another £168 off debts today.

Dragon - thank you so so much for this challenge. I was motivated to clear my debts, but this challenge really does give me that extra push and to see the percentage creeping up is awesome. You are a star for all the time spent in following and updating us all:D

Dragon, thanks for adding me and apologies to everyone for having increased the total amount :(

I've finalised the total debt to pay off by 2012 (excluding mortgage which is going to be waaaay after!) so please update my total to £10,318.78

Good news is I'm aiming to pay off some big chunks this week so I'll keep you posted!
Total debt at LBM... £16,815.02
  • As promised, I am doing and end of the month update. Since I last posted, I have paid in an additional £295.51.
My percentage paid is now 1.7640167% .
I will be doing this monthly from now on - except for the last month when I will post my final total on the eve of the opening ceremony.
I don't expect to hit my original target and never have. However, I reckon that by aiming for it I will pay off more than I expected.
