  • Hi all

Well done on the 1% paid....just wanted to check in to say I'm still here and reading but won't be able to update a figure for a while. I've made some repayments but finding it difficult with the first debt I need to pay off being the overdraft on the joint account we live from, with money in and out all the time. Can't wait for this snow to go so that I can get one of our cars cleaned and advertised as I want to put that money towards the debts (won't be a fortune but will make a difference). DH will no doubt have other ideas about what we should do with the money but we'll have to argue that one out! Hopefully know a bit more by the end of the month or beginning of Feb.

Paid £102.33 to my Virgin CC today, which cleared it completely, yeah!

Unfortunately added £71.79 to my other CC, so total paid only £28.21. New total should now be £8,351.91, boo!

    Hi Dragon
Including interest i have paid off another £221.02 from my total:j
I am really enjoying this challange and loving seeing our total go down on a daily basis thanks to everyone for this.
2010 is going to be my year and i know we are only on the 11th but i am still motivated bringing my debt down, losing weight and not having a tip for a house i was hoovering at 7am:eek: this morning before going to work and i get a real sense of pride going into the kitchen and seeing all the dishes done (sad i know) but every day i make sure i do something and it is all adding up.
My new motto is never leave a room without taking something with you dont always do it but it sounds good:rotfl:
