Well I am getting there, I'm paying £724.99 this month - another week til payments come off but want to declare it now. My new amount paid is £7,323.45, which leaves me with £1125.01 of debt, which I'm (fingers crossed) hoping to pay off next month (along with

Flipping eck, my calculations were wrong, I'm only paying £624.99 this month (wanted to try and pay the extra £100 but gonna leave myself short), so my new total is actually £1225.01, sorry Dragon.

Challenger #37 - £7,223.45 paid and not amount stated above, boo

    Hi all
#136 calling in. This is my first post so gutted at the little amount but hey ho, onwards and upwards.

    Debt was
    £18,785.93
    Debt is now:
    18706.17

As you can see from sig I have paid lots more but then interest is applied :( Even so, determined to carry on.

Well done everyone, back in a month to report new figures but will be keeping up with everyone in mean time.

You are off the starting line though! and each month you should reduce it bit by bit and the interest to pay will come down

Thanks Skaps - all added to the front post and the numbers are looking good! (I so want us to get to over 12% or 15% paid off! the 15% is with the nothing paid so far starting totals taken out)
