Can you tell me, do I just post total amount paid off for the month rather than posting throughout the month?

Your choice. I prefer once a month myself but there are no rules about it.

I've just worked out how much I can pay off my debts a month and worked it out, I'm not going to be to be able to pay all my debt off by July 2012. I'm going to be able to pay about 80%. When I get my quarterly bonus I will put that towards my debts as well, but its going to go get me up to 100% If any one has got any tips on how I can pay the rest of the debt off before then date I would really appricate it

  • Hi all.

Start of the month payments have gone out, so another £335.24 off for me, please Dragon.

Dee, you could try the "£10 a day" or the "Chrimbo Crackers" challenges to try and earn a bit of extra money. It might just take you up to your total. :)

I imagine you've already read other sections of the forum but, in case you haven't, there are plenty of tips on it about alternative ways to increase income and/or reduce outgoings. Some of them seem quite minor but they all add up.

Have you tried saving 20p and £2 coins? By doing that, I've saved £161.90 already this year! Might just help narrow the gap.

Thanks Claremylove, I'm putting all my loose change in a jar and I've got a sealed jar that I'm putting £2 coins and £ coins in that then I'm going to open that July next year and pay it off one of my credit cards.
