Installing VBulletin Forum -

Hi,

I have a domain name which is hosted already... www.mywebpageforum.com

VBulletin tells me to install to mywebpageforum.com/forum

How do i ensure that anyone putting only the domain name in the URL will be directed to the forum without the need to put the /forum part at the end? Do I need to set a "public" folder up and install to there?

Not sure about Vbulletin, but normally on a Unix (Apache) hosted site you would have a .htaccess file in the root folder (https://www.mywebpageforum.com) containing a redirect such as

redirect 301 /index.htm http://www.mywebpageforum.com/forum/index.htm
