Hi, I'm new here, and congratulate you all on your hard work, helping others, and for the 'SAD FART' simplifying the complex sales of goods act! :T
After an intense battle between myself and a web order company,- i fear the time has come, (assuming the latest letter gets a negative response) to persue a court claim against them.
The only problem is,-i have no idea where to start! Could somebody possibly give me a few pointers please? I have no time (litterally, due to work commitments!) for citizens advice, and would like to instigate this myself.
Regards,
Michelle aka Flirt2b

Whats your cause of action? i.e. on what basis are you making a claim?
Give some more details and then people will be able to advise more fully.0 -
www.moneyclaim.gov.uk...or something similar.
google for county court online,
You're looking to fill in the N1 [claim form] online, pay with cc or dc and it goes from there.

Thankyou BFG,
(For VomitySpice) ... A simplified version, - I bought an amplifier for use in gigs, had a cancelled gig so did not use it, plugged it in 2 months later and a terrible din came out, totally distorted, so i asked for a refund as the product was advertised as suitable for small gigs. The company said it was a manufacturers fault and had to send it back to be repaired, and would not give me a refund. letters 'not received' recorded deliveries not delivered etc, I've given them 14 days to reply (now they have signed for receipt).
Thanks for the Link BFG, Sounds quite easy!
Happy Christmas/ Holiday all
