Baxi ombi Boiler 105e Help

Hi all we have a problem with our baxi combi 105e boiler first off it wouldnt hold pressure kept dropping down to 0 a friend told me to refill to 1 to 1.5 then to twist the (i think its called pressure release valve) a couple of times then refill twist again which i did and touch wood its seemed to have worked now reading between 1.5 to 2 and holding now outside where the pipe comes from the bottom of the boiler to out side theres water dripping from it can anyone tell me how to get this to stop please

    If its a key operated built in filling mechanism you may not have shut the fill valve properly. Suggest you check it.

    Otherwise call someone in tomorrow to fix it and give the bill to your friend for him to pay! :D

    no its a black valve on a metal flexi hose and its not been left on otherwise it would fill the boiler up

    Yes you are right but the built in ones can leak externally even though they are not continuing to fill the boiler. Has it stopped now? There may have been some spillage from where you "adjusted" the PRV.

    Hi just come home from work the pressure still holding but theres still water coming from the outside pipe i thought it might have stopped by now
  • we had the same problem it was the pressure release valve we rang round and i think the replacement was about £12 my hubby is quite handy so he fitted it no probs since but if your not sure what ur doing call someone out

    Pressure holding at ??? bar? The PRV should operate at iro 3 bar.
