Does anyone know what the solihull stores are like for stock levels trying to decide whether to head to Mell square store or retail park next week??0

I usually shop at Staines and other years they have had loads left. Last week when I went in they had very little choice and less rows of sales stock. Not much that I would buy for my enormous family. Shame as I usually save a small fortune and everyone gets a great gift. Did wonder if I should try Kingston what does anyone else from my neck of the woods think??? D x0

The 75% sale is definitely starting tomorrow. Went into our tiny store about 3.30 to see what they had left (few bits & bobs - not a huge amount though). Asked the manager as he seems a really nice chap and he confirmed it was tomorrow. Asked him about the big No 7 set and he said they'd only a couple so if I wanted one to get there early. Only problem is I start work at 9. Reckon if they open as they are due to - 9.45 - I can get a quick grab and be to work on time. It's only 2 minutes away on foot.If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A0 -

thanks
Last year a lot of toys did go to 75% but not all of them did. I was lucky and got my online order through before the site crashed. I had my eye on a few toys that were around the £80 full price mark that went to £40 in the 50% off and sadly did not get reduced any further at the 75% off sale. I did manage to pick up some bargains for £7 - £8 that had an original RRP of £30 ish though. With Mr B.......who knows lol0 -
Hi all
Well it looks like the 20th it is then...
Although I have heard nothing from my step-cousin who told me this morning that it was tomorrow, I popped into my local store, which still has a reasonable amount of stock and happened to bump into one of my brothers friends...
He was busy tidying non sale shelfs and thought i should cease the moment and asked him about the sale. He didnt have a clue bless him (after all what 18 year old would be interested in 75% off womens cosmetics lol!). However his collegue that was helping him pretty much echoed what has already been said here, the have put it back to next week, due to the weather!. She mentioned that the company felt that not enough customers may have been given the opportunity to come out and grab a bargin due to the weather of last week.....
So unless Mr B is sending us all a MAJOR red herring, I can assume that it is infact next week. I must admit nothing much looked like it had moved from this mornings check, and the whole area was pretty deserted of any staff activity!, which i assume wouldnt be the case if i pretty big sale was due to start at 8.45am tomorrow morning.0 -
