I think i will go to sleep for a couple hours then wake up at 1am. It went live at about 3.15am last year from memory. Is anyone else staying up and if so are we all staying on this thread to chat like we did last year? Help keep eachother awake :rotfl:

Does anyone know what stock is like at the Lakeside shopping centre, Thurrock or the small Grays one??? Or definate confirmation their sales start tomorrow  I am after toys for my children and no 7 or soap and glory bits for me to egt me through the year.

    Good luck all :p

    Woo fellow Thurrock bootser!!

Lakeside didn't have much last night :( but just been to Grays and they have quite a bit :) No 7, 1 S&G, Gok, Sanctuary. Asked if they had any more and they said they still have some stock to put out :)

Was you at the store last year when those women came in with buggys and blocked both ends of the aisle so their mate could grab it all whilst they stopped anyone else going down the aisle  I am sooo tempted to take my 6yr and 10 yr old for protection! They are like little Rottweilers :rotfl:

I would think all stores will do it on the same date, and the Web site will do it the same date stores do. If you're going by Boots anyway tomorrow it wouldn't hurt to have a look, but I certainly wouldn't make a special trip if no one else reports the sale has started at her local.

I def think its nationwide as to be honest we havent been affected by the snow hardly at all in Thurrock Essex and both my local shops have postponed sales to next week. We havent had any snow since Saturday :o

I think a lot of postponing is as Vixie_Pixie said above that the stuff is selling so well at 50% off anyway so from Boots point of view why reduce it down further making less profit for them when its selling anyway.

Yea, i'm after the sanctuary and no 7. I'll be sure to grab you some!!! :)

No i wasn't.. i headed to lakeside last year. OOooh thats naughty! I'd have climbed over them! Lakeside was bad enough because everyone grabbed M&S trolleys and blocked everyone. I think you should take ur kids! We need all the protection we can get! :rotfl: We should wear a badge or something with our MSE names on so we can let each other through!! hehe!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Does anyone know what the sale stock levels are like in any of the NI stores? I haven't been to any stores this year, so not sure its worth bothering with the sale whenever it may be. TIA x

I have a feeling this delay will work well in Boots favor, but not so much in ours. A lot of people are already so worked up for the sale that they'll probably go ahead and buy at 50% off rather than risk getting nothing. So much for cleaning up on cheap bargains. <sigh>
