I didn't buy anything from the Boots 75% sale.....why, because I'm in debt and need to sort that out first before I buy any more 'stuff'.....do I get a prize for resisting the most anticipated sale this year.:D
:staradmin A huge pat on the back for you resisting the Boots sale. :staradmin :T0 -
Just back from taking eldest to pre-school and seeing to my poorly mum (mum + 2 pre-school kids are part of the reason I'm not able to get to the shops except at weekends) so only just saw this. Bless you hun, that's really really kind of you! To be honest the Peppa/Glitterbabes/Barbie/Disney/Charlie&Lola stuff will be long gone by now, but I really appreciate the thought :A

I feel that way about eyeshadows sometimes too, a wee bit too old even though I just LOVE all the funky colours. In my mind I'm still 21, but the skin says otherwise! I'm a mature student like yourself, maybe being around all the young 'uns at Uni keeps us young? :rotfl:
I try to avoid being round them as much as poss*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
I went in my local Boots this morning and, needless to say, most of the sale stuff had gone. However, I think they must have just restocked one of the shelves because there were loads of the Royal Jelly toilet bags and a good stock of the FCUK gift sets with the make up purse in. Also lots of Gaymers cider boxes and assorted chocolate gifts. An hour later on my way back through most of it had gone! I am wondering if they might put some more things out tomorrow just to keep the sale going a bit? As I have to go down to the dentist anyway I might just pop in!!!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I resisted too.....not by choice though! Argos were supposed to deliver a slow cooker on Monday and didn't cos they are daft so I had to wait in all day yesterday for them to deliver it so by them doing that they have saved me money that I would have spent in Boots and I had the nicest tea when I got in from work tonight! :jSLIMMING WORLD 13/5/2012- 6lb loss total weight loss 5 stone 8lb

Advice girls,
Bought a mini Gok set today with travelsized bits in. I stuck my hand in to check that all 3 were there- which they were and paid my £2 for it.
Got home to show mother my bargain- the body cream has "tester" on it and is half empty, and the other 2 are identical body washes so I'm missing the body scrub.
I know it's only £2 but i'm still a bit gutted. Am I going to have to go back in store or can I email them about it? I'm happy enough to keep it if I get points back/£1 off or something, but i'd rather not go back instore with it as it's extra hassle?
Should have known better- was the only one left!!0
