Oooh and also Hello :hello: to any other Ipswich Boosters that saw me this morning (long black coat, pink backpack and far to many bags for a single person to carry!). I think early this morning was rather plesant, dont know how anybody else feels?...a little bit of barging went on by the doors, but nothing too bad.

Well what another nightmare this sale has been. I have received a reply from boots after my ranting email in the early hours after pymt screen repeatly crashed

"Thank you for contacting us about your feedback regarding our website.

I am very sorry that you have had so many problems trying to place orders with us and that you have been unable to place your most recent order. I understand that this is extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I can assure you that our Operations and Boots.com Teams are working together to improve the website continuously. We are aware of the problems that you have identified and we are trying very hard to fix the problems as quickly as possible."

Obviously a a standard reply...would like to recommend everyone emails them and complains...at least then have to do somethng for next year and improve it for the rest of the year!

i went to the birkenhead store today they only had 2 rows of shelves, bit of a let down....loads of FCUK womens gift set with the 2 rose shapped lip balms & body spray in..loads of yardley lavender stuff, choccies, photo albums and chilli pepper body stuff and lipglosses...
came away with the FCUK womens cosmetic purse set with lip balms, not bad for the price cant complain..

Going to attempt chester city centre store tomorrow...anyone been today?what was it like?any good?

The one thing I did manage to get today which I am pleased with was the No7 Mens gift set (£40 down to £10). But apart from a garage for my sons and 2 boxes of chocolates, I have resisted.

Stevenage Roaring Meg was practically bare - could almost see the tumbleweed blowing down the aisles!!

As a nurse, when it's 6pm and still haven't had lunch, we'll eat anything!! What nice thing to keep doing, though hell for waistlines!! LOL!

Oh forgot to say i managed to get two plane jane s+g sets in manchester today bargain of £5 i tried kidding myself i'd give one as a gift but i just can't do it!! lol
my mum managed to get a hatbox from dewsbury branch, it did have a damaged handle so was further reduced to £7.50 by the manager so she got it for my birthday.

I was there too - but didnt see your card - it was all very civilised and one of the SA who is normally a bit grumpy on sale day was smiling away! Did you manage to get your card cancelled ok? I got caught up coming out in the traffic so not sure what was going on .

I finally got online at midday, found two bits I wanted, added them to my basket, by the time I got to checkout, they were sold out :mad::rolleyes:
