just as well went to boots, cos got home and site up and running and basket empty...
I hope you all got what you wanted from today, I found some fabulous things and all sorted for the year with a saving of £178.50 hooray.0 -
Just got out of bournemouth store and I'm so mad. One family of chavs had taken nearly all the toys. They had filled a large rolling crate and had enough to fill at least one more they had hundreds of toys. I managed to get the elc cash register, a build your pen plane and an activity cube but that was it. Everything I wanted was being guarded by a big load of gippos.
Why are people so greedy????
There was however loads of smellies so bought a few bits and pieces
SO mad!!!!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
WOO HOO finally got my order through! been trying since 5am!!is officially a GLEEK0

Arrived early to my first store so grabbed a starbucks and went back for about 7.58. 5 ladies and myself waiting to get in when the opened. Knew exactly where the stuff i wanted was - got the following
No7 Ultimate Collection (£60) for £15
No7 Facial Collection (£35) for £8.75
No7 Cosmetic Case (£20) for £5
FCUK Hatbox Collection (£10) for £2.50
Botanics Bating Tin (£10) for £2.50
FCUK mens duo x 2 (£8) for £2 each
Radox bath caddy (£8) for £2
Total £39.75 for £159 worth of stuff.
Then I went to my 2nd store which opened at 9am - about twenty people waiting at this one when I got there, thankfully they opened the door nearest me so myself and about 3 others in first. This one was more chaotic with screaming children with mum and dad both pushing trollies. My ankles hurt as about 3 people were walking down the aisle just pushing their trollies through people - I WOULD NOT BE MOVED FROM MY BARGAIN HUNTING THO!
Didn't buy as much here -
Another No7 Ultimate collection (will give for my sis' birthday) (£60) for £15
Sanctuary Tranquility Travel Kit (probably my best buy after No7 £50) for £12.50
Sanctuary Hand Indulgence Set (£15) for £3.75
Paid £31.25 for £125 worth of stuff - had picked up other bits and pieces but put them back when I rationalised why I was buying them.
Managed to get a fairtrade set and a few of the heart keyrings ordered from boots.com.
All in all I've had a successful sale (saved 213 not including my .com savings) but Mr B has made me work very hard for it
Hope everyone else is as fortunate as I was....

agreed - seems to be just clearance stuff. some toys, sun cream, passport holder, diaries, cards, creams, etc......'gift' stuff - if that helps anyone panicking when the site is busy, as it is erratic at the moment.
in store might be another story but i can't decide wether to go cos i can't go til wee boy goes to nursery at 1pm, then it's a 46 mile round trip to my nearest store so theres fuel too and it might be just as disappointing0 -

Oh my god! Never again! Just got back from Lowestoft Boots, and it was MURDER!!! Got there at 8:15 to find a huge queue already, when the finally opened the doors, SAs had put all the No 7 Ultimate sets by the door and the first 20 people were busy blocking the doorway filling their binbags, YES BINBAGS that they had brought with them! In the end, with a large nudge from the lady behind me, I ended up charging the double buggy through them ,running over at least half a dozen seys of toes! No one could get in the store because of them! Going upstairs was just as bad!
After half an hour queueing for a till (gave up trying to shop!) It was worth it, 2No7 ultimate, 2 No7 nails, 1 ITNG musical mat and a dozen other gifts later I have arrived home in one piece, just!
Hello to the fellow MSEr who sussed me out trying to round up Paige (never let a 2 year old out the buggy when a sale as big as this is taking place!), sorry if I sounded rude, I was a bit stressed and harrassed, hope you got all you were after! And, you are a MAN! I am very impressed!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0
