If you get lucky you get lucky. Imagine how many people are online trying to buy at the moment - paid2shppers, hotUKdealers, MSE'rs..... the more popular these sites get, the more inside information that people get the busier the sites are going to get and this is why servers crash and/or only let a certain amount of people on the site. Otherwise it just aint going to work and no-one will get anything.

That is true but the Boots site is pretty dire the rest of the year too. I regularly find basic items that I want to buy are constantly out of stock and it is very slow especially at check out stage. Other retailers manage to organise their websites at sales time so I don't see why Boots can't also sort something.

I also find it hard to believe that at 5am there are 500,000 people all trying to get on at once. I believe last year it was reported that part of the problem was people buying in large quantities to sell on ebay. Tesco's have a system that limits how many of certain items you can put in your basket and so I don't see why Boots can't implement something similar. Unless of course that Mr T has a monopoly on the software involved......

up since 430 - trying since still no job - but at least have done the washing - got showered and dressed early - got ready for work - even managed to stick some slap on - made a nice breakfast woke the children playfully - beds made - hmmm not bad all done and its 0801 - still dont think I could do it every day - bet I fall asleep at my computer in work this morning - as I say still havent got anything - am finishing early at 12 and heading into town so hopefully there may be something left - if not aaagh nope am not gonna get stressed - if not sobeit - have a great day all x
