Was in Liverpool Street Station branch time morning, not much left at all with the exception of the Chilli Pepper Gold bags - there were quite a few of those. Only other stuff was odds and ends but nothing really worth mentioning and most of it looked a bit tatty to be honest.

Wouldnt it be a shock if they mean the 50% is until the end of Tue and then everything back at full price!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am suprised that some shops have put up signs like this, as someone else said why advertise that there is to be a further sale if you are trying to sell off more at a higher price makes no sence.

No it hasnt always been on a wednesday. Im sure 2008 it was a tuesday but Im not 100%. More people seem to be saying 20th dont they, think will have spent all my money before it starts this year!

Ha ha, yip, that would be a shock and a half! I was surprised to see the signs too but I imagine that they maybe had a shop full of disgruntled bargain hunters last week wondering why everything was only 50% off. Either that or they are sick of answering phone call queries about it. It probably has dented their sales though as everytime I have been in over the last week the sale aisles were very quiet.

Yeah, the merchandise is all looking a bit done in, no surprise as it's been getting shuffled about for nearly 4 weeks! I think it's fair to say that some of the tat left won't even be worth the 75% off price. I think Boots made a boo boo with this. Some people who may well have spent the last of their Christmas cash last week might just have went off and spent it elsewhere instead, sick of waiting for this bloomin' sale. They'll be left with stuff they might well have got rid of if they'd started it earlier.

the site did go down last week - and when it finally went back - no change - I am told they do that every week - take the site down to update offers - so it wont necessarily mean ANYTHING when it goes down at midnight

Well whatever good luck everyone - hope there are lots of hat boxes waiting to be bought at 75% off for you all - wouldnt it be nice eh? lol Seriously I do hope everyone gets some good deals - was gonna say have saved a fortune since discovering this site but thats not true actually I seem to be always finding something out from here and getting my bank card out - oops
