  • Hi

Just a report on my local boots, i must be one of the lucky ones, as yesterday i popped in twice (getting a little bit anxious with all these reports of every shop being almost bare), and to be honest mine have a very silmar amount of stock left to last year.....its a two floored boots and there is still some upstairs and downstairs, maybe a way to 'distruitube' thouse who will be there bright and breezy wednesday morning.....

Alot of the stock had been 'bunched' up though to an extreme, although i think it is for more of the purpose of getting new stock out. Upstairs they were hanging new baby items up, and i know downstairs they have plans for the suntan lotion....everything that should have been put out i suppose this week as norm even though the sale did not go ahead....

*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Hi Thanks to those who posted about stock in glasgow stores that saves me a trip. The Forts stock has been awful , bad even before xmas dont suppose anyone knows what the stock is like in the Lanarkshire area.
I can only comment on East Kilbride. The town centre branch has LOTS of hexagonal sanctuary, Frontcover (wee set), Gok Hey Gorgeous, Survival kits, technics huge make up kit, r&m compacts, glitter babes light up mirror, no S&G, no Elle, no FCUK :( This was yesterday afternoon.
Kingsgate Retail Park was practically empty, nothing of note at all, except those bloody survival kits!

ROFL that is soooo funny. I like you am totally obsessed, it's eased a little since the sale was cancelled, before that I was going to sleep thinking of the boots sale, dreaming of the boots sale and wake up thinking about the boots sale...I'm sure I'll be back to that next week!

Liverpool Speke Retail Park - Chilli Pepper Gold Bags, Gok Wan sets, In The Night Garden, Thomas the Tank Engine hot water bottles.

If you have any stock info either Post on the thread and i will update this list or pm me.
Thanks to everyone for giving info.

    Hiya again,
I've been back into Speke this morning and took a closer look at what was there. They had at least 6 full aisles absolutely crammed with sale stuff, sadly no No. 7 sets :( nor Soap & Glory :( BUT I did spot:

    Men's Ted Baker sets
    Men's small FCUK washbags
    Men's FCUK backpack sets
    Men's Hackett sets
    Men's Trevor Sorbie sets
Fresh range - 2 different types of gift set
    Royal Jelly bags
    White Collection "Pink" sets
    Sanctuary bags
    Chilli Pepper bags
Goodworks sets - at least 2 or 3 different types
    Elle McPherson sets
    Extracts sets
    Boots Original toiletries sets
    Gok Wan large sets
Cookery stuff - a few different ones
    Hot chocolate mugs
    Tins of biscuits
Granny type sets (rose/lavender etc) - tonnes of em!!
A few toys such as bubble garage etc
In The Night Garden mini cuddlies
Thomas and Mr Men Hot Water bottles

I can't remember other than that, but there was absolutely LOADS of stuff on the shelves, so it's a fairly safe bet to say that people are NOT snapping it up at 50% off :)

thanks for the update...hoping there is one with my name on it. ;)
  • There are MASSES of sale items left upstairs in the big Boots in the Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland.

Sanctuary, FCUK, toys, the big Chilli Pepper bag and smaller gift sets, No. 7 Ultimate set, foodie stuff, Ted Baker, Mediterranean, alcohol gifts, smellies, smellies, smellies everywhere!

The sales assistants were very busy moving things around, but I counted at least a dozen double sided aisles of display shelving crammed floor to top with stuff.

The SAs were also talking about which items were 'half and half again' - I got the impression some things must have been reduced further already, as a group of three of them were scuttling off and price checking the items they were wanting themselves. Another SA was going around with a little handheld 'gun' scanning bar codes and entering numbers on the keypad. Anyone know if that means she was activating price changes?

I'm tempted to go down first thing tomorrow to see if they're starting 75% tomorrow. It would make sense in many ways to start on a Saturday - they'd be more likely to have higher footfall to clear the sale stock and be able to get back to business as usual from Monday - do you think?
