does anyone know if there are many giftsets left in the merry hill store as i am going there tomorrow and have an unexpected birthday to buy for. i hope i can get a bargain, if not i may have a look in river island and see if i can get anything from there, is there much left in the merry hill store if anyone knows?

Managed to get some bargains 75% off! - went to my little local this morning, not able to go further due to road conditions. about 5 mins before opening time someone changed all the 50% off signs to 75% off - a couple of us went in and got some stuff, but it was only going thru 50% off on tills - they rang head office and were told they had been sent a message last week telling them it was put off for another week. Manageress decided we would have to have the stuff 75% off due to signs - which were quickly ripped down again! In law i don't think they HAVE to do this, but they did. Will doubtless be there next week as well...

I'm glad they moved it to next week. Not just so more of us have a chance of getting there, but also because they know all the Boots-crazy people would be rushing to get there and it's too dangerous.

I wanted the tagine and I hadnt put in on my wishlist so I thought I had lost out but I noticed this morning that its appeared and its still showing in stock

I got this for Christmas and I love it

Used the recipe supplied and it turned out great, however just a bit too spicy, so I suggest not using as much cayenne pepper as stated, then adding more after tasting if you want more of a kick :eek:

Hi, I should have had a wee check on this thread before trecking into town this morning for 8.30 am NO 75% sale in any boots Glasgow city centre still 50% off. I was really disappointed. I did notice that there wasn't a lot at St Enoch and Sauchiehall street there were however a lot of chilli pepper gift bags @ £35 so they should be £8.25 in the 75% sale whenever that may be... It wasn't a wasted journey though, I spent £20 at Lush and got to pick any gift box in the store ,you could take a lucky bag instead of the gift bag and this was valued at £25 worth of stuff. shrewdalx
