Thanks, Twink. There are some great, free games on there to play. Good spot.

I think it's ideal for the families board so I'll move it over there shortly...

After I've put it in my favourites!

Mine fight too,dd(the youngest )torments her older brothers.A people carrier would solve our problems too,but we're not prepared to buy a bigger car for what are actually only a handful of problem journeys a year. We''l just have to put up with it,or I will have to sit in the back:rolleyes:

think the reason that they went for a people carrier is that the back seat was too crowded with two booster seats and big seat for lo 14months, boys are 7 and 8 think they fought all the time no matter how short a journey, to think we used to have three and a dog in the back:eek: wonder now how we managed, that was a good few years ago though

My kids used to be car sick through being frustrated at long car journeys and driving me mad by saying are we nearly there yet? every five mins until I was took this advice from my sister.

Everytime we have a long car journey we go to the library and let the kids take out a music cd and story cd or cassette they choose what they like our library have a great choice.

We make sure personnal cd and cassette players have new batteries they listen to their music or stories and tell them to look out the window so they dont feel travel sick it works a treat they love it so much they look forward to going on long car journeys now!!

First time we tried it we took nursery rhymes cassette tapes for our youngest she loved singing along to them all.
