Thanks for that! I am very happy as I was planning on buying the XL model for my oh.
And when you do a comparison of products, it has everything you want from a SatNav in the UK.. including speed camera wanrnings... which most of the other models no longer have Or you have to sucribe for it!
Hope you have a happy xmas!
Just reserved the last of two in manchester!

The Start is now showing as £89, at that price the XL is better value at £99 as it has the full feature set and the bigger screen.

I'm pretty sure I saw an XL in my local Tescos (Milton, Cambridge) last night for £89.99.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

I don't think the XL Classic has IQ routes though, and the Start does.
I am annoyed if they have put the price up £20 as it defeinitely said valid until 24/12/09!0 -
I went to pick up my reservation at 6.30pm and it went through at £69.99 so if you have reserved one it's worth going to get it!0

Argos say quite clearly on their website that you pay the price it is instore on the day, but when I rang to check, the woman in customer services said as long as you don't extend the reservation period, you'll definitely pay the price you reserved it at. I think the stuff on the site is just to cover their backs against pricing mistakes etc.
I collected my reserved tomtom start yesterday and paid £69 even though the price had since risen to £89.0
