Anyone out there with the wiring colours and ISO socket configuration for my 53 plate Astra ?? I'm off on a long journey over Christmas and don't want to do without the radio.

I assume you're trying to install an aftermarket headunit?
Just buy an ISO adaptor from Halfords, saves you cutting up the wiring and means the car could be reverted to a standard radio if required.0 -
I am not wanting to cut up the loom. I have an aftermarket lead for the radio but It's not got an ISO socket on it. I have another lead with an ISO socket on it form an old very dead head unit. I was wanting to match the leads from the radio to the new ISO socket so it matches the Vauxhall Configuration. Having looked at it further it looks like it may be a standard colour config. Was just trying to make sure0

If the radio loses it's memory, that is presets and volume when swithched off etc., when you power off by taking the key out of the ignition, you will have to swap the red and yellow leads over. This is a quirk on Vauxhalls, they have swapped the permanent live feed over.0
