which router should i get

hi allmy old router seems to be playing up, connecting/not connecting etcso i'm liking to get a new wireless router, at the monment i have a netgear 834gt do a lot of downloading in the night, and its on most of the time i watch satelite tv, does any one have any suggestions as to what router i should get,

would be a good idea to post your line stats first, give us an idea of what your line's like. Also, you can use routerstats and DMT to monitor your line to see when/what's happening when you lose connection...turn the light on before stabbing in the dark......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

A Netgear 834GT. They're good and solid things.
I'd be looking at the microfilters first though before writing off the Netgear.0 -

yeah, and normally hang onto sync at very low snrm, hence why I asked OP to post line stats and try monitoring line first...may well not be the router at all......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
