I really like the Dell 5 Button Optical. It has a really nice feel, and has also got the back/forward buttons on the side. Really useful for browsing MSE!The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

I always used to like the Microsoft mice. Nowadays though I use a Logitech corded laser mouse. You can't go far wrong with Microsoft or Logitech in my opinion.
I do prefer corded mice though, better for gaming and no hassle with charging and batteries.
I'm also old fashioned and prefer mice without lots of buttons as I always hit them by accident, a scroll wheel is essential though. It's my problem, it's my problem

for me a mouse must have
scroll wheel
cordless
back/forward buttons
good shape
good 'slide pads' (havent a clue what they are called)
right now i run a logitec mx 3200 combo set up http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-MX3200-Cordless-Desktop-Laser/dp/B000HCRVSK

my 2p worth.
Even Apple fanbois usually admit that their mice are abominations.
If you go to PC World or Maplin they'll have quite a few on display that you can try for size. I wouldn't actually advise you to buy there though...0 -
Yawn, people using the term Apple fanbois... Presumably stuck in the 1980s.
For me I find the Microsoft IntelliMouse hard to beat, have them on several machines, fit the hand perfectly.
The Apple Magic Mouse is also excellent when you get used to it.0 -
Just to agree with most posters so far.
Microsoft + Logitech make great mice, but the best way to decide which to buy is to try first, and PCworld is a good place to try as they usually have plenty on display.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
Because of an injury i can't use my right hand, when i first got the computer i wanted a left hand mouse but couldn't find anything.
I'm using the basic one that came with the computer and while it's not perfect i've got use to it now.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
