I used it about 18 mths ago and I have no problem with the PC. Service is a different matter.
For various reasons I didn't get around to setting up and putting it all together for about a month. I had a problem with the MS software after I downloaded Service Pack something or other. It basically thought I had a Broadband connection when I had Dial up.
Sad to say you only get 31 days free support with software and since I was outside of this by one day it cost me £25 and a whole day off work on the phone to the Dell 0870 number. They would tell me to do something and say this will take you 2 hours - ring back when you have done it. And I'd be another an hour waiting for a person. I think my phone bill was an extra £18 that month. (I now know about alternatives to 0870 nos)
The software support is based in N Ireland and the hardware support in India. I wouldn't rate either of them. I agree Dell machines are good and I would buy one again - just set it all up and have it problem free before the free support runs out.
Rachelif i had known then what i know now0
