My mortgage with Nationwide has been accepted and they sent me the offer, the same day they sent me a text message telling me to ring my solicitor for completion.
I don't think I should because the solicitor still have to carry the searches and I didn't allow him to start yet because the sellers have to extend the lease 1st has it was agree.
Am I right or should I ring?

Your solicitor will not exchange or complete on a property without your say so. Call them by all means, get an update as to what has been happening.
The Nationwide may have assumed that as you have the mortgage offer you will be in a position to complete.0 -
if you have not given your solicitor money for the searches, s/he probably hasn't started yet - few will do it without funds upfront. you can always call your solicitor - s/he is working for YOU !! you are paying her/him for a service, if you have questions, ask ! good luck0
