Hi hothothot
He was a bit of a bigwig in EU terms, I'm pretty sure he was quite involved with the Student Association, may even have been the president of it. (A post frequently held by political students who go on to big political careers)
EU staff tend to never ever leave and get quite involved in the 'family' of the uni, so when GB moved on to his political career everyone at EU, including the warden would have been watching and expecting great things.......wonder how they feel now:rotfl:Not just a sucker for sweeties..:o0 -
Brown was a Student Rector from 1972-3 at the University.(Bounced cheques at that time usually had the comment 'Refer To Drawer:Please Represent' printed on them. You had to be pretty untrustworthy with your account to have just 'Refer To Drawer' on them!:rotfl:)Plus ca change..0

Is Gordon Browns name actually "James Gordon Brown"? and that signature looks pretty different to his current one. I don't think I would be wasting £3k on it.The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
