Can anyone recommend a reasonable Company for a friend of mine, he is diabetic - controlled diet no insulin, but is paying a wopping £88 a month for Life insurance for his mortgage of 125k - this doesn't include his wife either.

Has he had his policy for a long time as policies have come down considerably in the last 3-5 years? Does he have to use Metformin or is he totally diet and exercise controlled?
Is his current life insurance linked to his mortgage?0 -
if its controlled well with reasonable hba1c readings. Then depending on his age and term that seems very high.
Have a look at the usual - Friends Provident, L & G, Aviva (although personally i would avoid these), Bright Grey.
Life Cover is life cover as they say so just go for the cheeapest. Try theidol.com i think a website is to run off a few quotes, but also potentially consult an IFA.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. See an IFA. They can phone around the underwriters to see what their view is before any application is submitted. This will save having to declare loads of declined, rated or changed terms on all future applications.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
