Id be tempted to make some of the veg ones into potato cakes type things with added flour to firm them up, make into a sort of dough and fry both sides then grill. I have plan potato ones with fried egg & baked beans, bacon type thing as a meal at any time of the day.

If your nipper wont eat them I certainly will ;)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Of course you can use the fruit ones in a pie, crumble, or with granola type crumbly thing with yoghurt, custard that sort of thing ;)

As a little girl just after the war my Mum received a food parcel from her sister in America. Not realising that I was no longer a small baby she had put in some tins of Heinz baby apples puree. My Mum not being a lady who would not use anything,(rationing was still on) made my two brothers and I eat the stuff spread on toast and bread instead of jam. It was a way not to waste anything I suppose but to me it traumatised me to such an extent that when my babies were small I couldn't even think of giving them this greeny soft yuk.

It wasn't too bad when mixed in with a milk pudding i.e. rice, tapioca or semolina though. Good luck with your task though. How about asking around at the local baby clinic there maybe some Mums that would do a swop for something else.
My youngest daughter runs a meet-a-mum- group and often the Mums exchange toys ,clothes and other baby paraphanalia with each other . They have even swopped left over tins of Baby milk when the child has stopped having powdered milk
You may even meet some other Mums that way.:j

You could add the veg ones to stews to make the sauce more substantial (sp?). Last year when we visited my Auntie she did a lovely sauce on the ice cream which was effectively pureed blackberries so perhaps some of the fruit ones could be used as sauce on top of ice cream. You could also mix fruit puree into semolina or ground rice instead of jam.

Incidentally, how many cubes did he eat before moving on? (I am exactly the sort of person who could end up doing the same as you by trying to be super organised.)
