Hi,
Were at the very early stages of buying(solictor instructed of sale on Tuesday just gone) however for one reason or another we have decided to pull out.
What fees if any could we be expected to pay at this stage?
Thanks

Have you agreed the fee with your solicitor, signed and returned any forms to them yet?
Have you spent money on ID checks etc yet?0 -
We agreed how much the fees would be via email only, I haven't even received any paperwork from them as yet let alone sign it.
As far as I am aware nothing has happend and I certainly haven't paid for anything0 -
I suggest you write to/call the solicitor and advise them you will not be progessing the purchase.
If they send you an invoice you can then consider whether you feel it is justified based on what you agreed, and what work they say they have undertaken.0 -
I've sent an email to confirm our intentions and will follow this up with an phone call Monday. Hopefully I'll catch this in time.0

They will probably try to bill you for the work they have done, but taking into account the short time it cannot be a lot.0
