Reclaiming bank charges - unanswered hardship claim

I received a letter today from my bank advising that they would not be repaying my claim due to the recent court ruling however I submitted this claim way over a year ago claiming financial hardship and this is the first and only response I have received.

Do I have any grounds on which to appeal this as they didn't look into my hardship claim at the time?

Cheers!

Do you still have a bank account with the same bank?
Do you still incur charges from the bank?
Do you or did you have priority debt arrears(mortgage or rent, council tax, utilities)?

  • Yes I'm still with the bank and still getting charged. I did and still do have utitilities arrears though no I&E details have been given as I anticipated them sending me a financial statement.
