What should I get?
I first thought about a Tomtom but then someone has now said that a Garmin is better
No idea what I want now
Do want one though with lane guidance and under £150
HELP!
Any users views would be most appreciated - good or bad

Only had experience of Navman and TomTom* - TomTom is much easier to use and gives more options of display.
(*TomTom one)Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

I have a Garmnin and have been very happy with it. When it needs replacing I'd happily have another.
To be honest I dont think there's a lot to choose between Garmin and Tom Tom.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
TomTom's the best if you ask me. Went 1,500 miles from Portugal to England without a wrong turning. The directions are very clear. (TomTom One XL Europe).0

Did you test a Garmin on the same route? If not how can you say Tom Tom is the best?
I've driven through France, Belgium and Holland using a Garmin without going wrong but I've never tired the same routes with a Tom om so can't clim the Garmin is better, just that it does what I need. It's my problem, it's my problem

My wife and I are in the market for a satnav, and the Garmin models seem easier to use than the TomTom ones. We drive all around Nebraska with a borrowed Garmin for several days without a wrong turn.
Try them both out and see which one you prefer using.0 -
Why would I have had two SatNavs working together on the same route? :rolleyes:BillScarab wrote: »Did you test a Garmin on the same route? If not how can you say Tom Tom is the best?
I have however travelled many hundreds of miles with a borrowed Garmin unit, and from my experiences (of having tried units of similar price from both manufacturers) I can claim that I believe TomTom is best.
Hope that answers your question. :rolleyes:0 -
Text-to-speech is a feature that some prefer to have also :cool:0
