hi there i have all my passwords saved on sites such as this one so that i can go straight on to them.
however , since i updated java and installed sweet im at the same time , one of them has caused all my passwords to disappear everytime i leave the site and come back to it.
i assume it has had something to do with one of the above but i am not sure.
any ideas appreciated i have vista home and use internet explorer - i think the latest one .

What is sweet? Java should not have interfered with saved passwords. Are you saying the passwords are still not being saved, say, on MSE site?0

Sweet im is malware. You shouldnt have installed it
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the log COMPLETE here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log):idea:0 -
What about an alternative browser? Can you install Firefox and run with that if it suits your needs, which it should
. What about running System Restore in Vista to roll back to your previous (saved passwords) state? 0 -
