Bank Charges Claim-Case on Hold

Hello,

I have just learnt about the last Court decision which doesnt make me happy at all, for I was about to ask some feedback from my bank.

I introduced my claim in October 2008 and received a prompt reply form my bank "stating that my case would be placed on hold until the court has given his decision" but so far nothing.

My question is now...what shall I do for it appears that the previous argument (I based my claim on) will likely not work and I might be rejected by my bank. Shall I chnage my argument in the mid way??? and base my claim on "the new strong legal ground" highlighted: the Consumer Credit Act

Is anybody in this situation that can give me a clue...many thanks

God Bless You

  • I got a letter from my bank this morning saying that they are not going to pay back my charges and I have 15 days to respond to their letter if i think their decision is wrong.I really have no idea what to do now.

No don't give up - come back Tuesday afternoon and there should be some good advice on what to do next. You will obviously need to respond to them tell them you dont agree and possibly go to the FOS. We're working hard in the background to make sure everyone knows what to do as SOOn as the OFT make their announcement tuesday morning as to whether they intend to continue the legal action or not.
