Hey guys,
I just wanted to ask you all for any suggestions for what i can do over the summer!..
I've just finished my first year at uni and although i'd love to be doing extra hours at work due to illness i am unable to do that at the moment. So now im stuck at home with nothing to do, a lot of my friends have gone on holiday and i'm just trying to work out what im going to do with myself until the new term in October!!
Any ideas appreciated....

Volunteer.
There are loads of charities/not for profits that need extra help over the summer as their regular volunteers go on holiday. I'm not sure where in the UK you are but for things in Scotland try http://www.volunteerscotland.info/index.php
Volunteers can do a range of things within different organisations and you'd be surprised at what you can do that you might not have thought about.
I personally would recommend the Red Cross, as they will let you do your first aid certificate for free (very useful for your CV and some companies pay you extra for having one) and then you can volunteer to do first aid at events (which can be fitted around other work/uni commitments).2007 comping challenge - Won £25 / need £1040 -
