Sky Card not been paid for 2 years

Hi

We had a Sky card 2 years ago, along with other debts, we managed to clear the other debts, but never sorted this card out due to oversight, and moved house etc, the debt recovery company sent us a letter demanding £870, to our new house. We phoned explaining the oversight and said we can afford to give them in a lump sum the £250 credit limit (we had £200 actually on the crd) and thought i'd be able to hagle from there, but they said i am way off, and loks like we are going to have to pay about £170 for this as they said they will take off £180 of their charges. Is there anythin we can do about this? Or are we screwed?

Regards
Martin

SAR to sky card for charges,. reclaim all the charges and then see how much is left and sort out a payment plan for the rest.
