Laminate Flooring with "hole"
skylight
Right in the middle of my floor, where some corners of laminate meet, the top has come off the laminates showing the wood bits underneath.
Its impossible for me to put a rug on it (due to the location) but is there anything I can seal it with to prevent wet getting in etc??? Would normal varnish do??

You need something like this.....

Colorfill won't do that big a repair on its own.Its about 3cm long and half a cm wide ish.
Two choices:
1. Get the piece(s) that is/are broken off and glue them back in place using some colorfill around the edges and hope it holds together.
2. Replace the broken planks.

if you havent got the broken piece. then you can cut a new piece to match.
and stick it down.
you may need to cut a new shape out of it first. a very sharp chisel and a good eye is required.
when making the new piece, make it bigger to start with and keep trimming/sanding till you have a nice fit.
it will take time to get a really nice fit.Get some gorm.0
