How/when does your mother use her calls?

She could have inclusive evening calls with BT for no extra charge if she agreed to a 12 months rolling contract. If she uses the phone a lot during the day she could be better taking the Anytime plan from BT which is about £3.95pm if you agree to the rolling contract.

If she only uses the occasional daytime calls then taking the Evening & Weekend plan with BT and using call1899 during the day would be best.

Daytime calls to 01.02.03 numbers are 0p per minute with a 5p connection charge.

She may well be best with BT's Anytime Plan - I believe it's £4.95pm (I'm sure there used to be an offer of £3.95pm but don't see it now) as 0845/0870 numbers are included.

You need to look closely at the calls being made and when.
