triton power shower problems

hi, I have a triton power shower that trips out a fuse every time I turn on the isolator switch. any ideas?

I assume you mean minute circuit breaker (switch) instead of fuse (wire that you cut). It might be that your consumer unit is newer than your shower, i.e. your current consumer board is more sensitive than the one that was there when they installed the shower. In any case you need an electrician, either your consumer board is playing up (bad mojo) or your shower is dangerous (bad bad mojo).0

Im not an electrician so dont take this advice if you dont want. But something like that was happening to me and it was because 2 wires inside the switch where touching, ie the neutral and live0
