Hi,
Just wondering if you could give me ideas for dressing french doors. They are slightly recessed so ideally the dressing would fit within. I also want to be able to use the doors as they lead into the garden.
My other half likes vertical blinds but Im not sure I like them.
I will take a piccy of them tomorrow if that helps.
Many thanks
Lisa

2 contemporary roller blinds to match the decor.
I dont bother with mine, they are fine as they are, they are in constant use.
Verticals block a lot of light even when they are 'open'
I do have a large velvet curtain to one side just for winter.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

We used to have vertical blinds that the previous owners left on our French doors. They were ones that had a central parting so you ended up with a bunch of blinds on each side when they were pulled back. It meant if you just had one door open, there was some obstruction with the blinds, and on breezy days when the door was open there was a constant "click clack" sound as the blinds kept hitting off the door frame. That drove me mad!
The back garden isn't overlooked, so I've got no blinds or anything on the doors now, and a curtain rail on the wall above the recess with curtains to pull across. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Are these double glazed french doors? If so, would suggest conservatory blinds which slot into the space between the rubber seal and the glass. Bought some from blinds2go, and they are great.0

Try a company called The Blind Shop. They were very helpful when I was looking into blinds for my french doors. I ended up going with metal venetians on the actual doors with clips down the bottom to hold them in place. theblindshop.com0
