why can i not delete file off f drive mp4

hi there
still having problems with my mp4 player. loaded music onto the mp4 folder in the f drive and now the player is saying that there are no files stored on it yet when i connect it to the computer there is 3gb of music on the device. also which i right click on a file it will not let me delete it i get a error message saying it can not locate the file on the f drive.

Have you tried reformatting the F: drive?
Be careful: this will delete everything off the disk, so if it contains any necessary software or files you want to keep, DON'T DO IT!!!
