Its just the overall rating, I think. I've had a few 'not useful' revenge ratings, and never been pulled up on it.
Although last night I was on a roll, and wrote 8 reviews, which have all had useful/very useful so weren't complete rubbish! One was a book on a girl who suffered terrible abuse at the hands of her parents, and follows her foster mum trying to help her. Dooyoo have written not to go into much detail, so I skimmed over the basic plot. Woke up to two comments from the same person, one saying "I have no idea what happens in this book" and one saying "8 book reviews in one day? Is that wise?".
I feel really disheartened nowI was pretty much bedbound yesterday, so had a lot of time to review. I might contact Dooyoo about them.

well done sarah!
yes saucy, email dooyoo about them. as soon as you lose your "new member" tag, you'll be left alone i suspect.
If you read my early twilight review, you'll see I took a total paddy and deleted the basic synopsis. The womans comments were horrid and she rated it NU for *spoilers* even though id said there would be some.
It's like trying to review harry potter without giving away that he is a wizard!
just ignore them!

My Paypal account is up to £53.25 from my Ebay sales after Paypal fees.
P&P £6.80 for 3 of my parcels - didn't have to post the other parcel as it turned out that the guy lived in the same town as me - so DH dropped it off on his way home from work.
So that makes my current earnings £46.45 then Ebay fees are to come off!
Have found a couple more things to list so should be there soon.
Everybody seems to be doing really here, well done.Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -

I have a question about Dooyoo though. Reading another post where someone had problems getting their cheque from them, am I better just asking for the Amazon Voucher? I would prefer the cash. Thanks
If you wanrt an Amazon voucher its 20,000 points £20,00, their usually delievered within a week, I got kicked off dooyoo, I had a disagreementwith them. Bar that I didn't have a problem with the vouchers beig delievered - done electronically to the email address registered.
A friend of mine shes waiting for her voucher, but the 1st one came within 5 days.
If you want a cheque you have to work upto 50,000 points - £50.00, I always took vouchers, so can't help re chq sorry. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I wouldn't be disheartened honestly, its like here on the board (bar this and the sister thread - were all nice!!), you get trolls (as there called on here), basically people just pulling anyine reviews to pieces.
I had it as well, theres always one or two people like that, if you do find that the same person is doing it to a lot of ur reviews I'd then get in contact with dooyoo and report them.

My gosh you've all been busy posting today! I haven't read through but i will in a minute.
Just wanted to let all the ebay sellers know this. I've just had this email off paypal. Apparently now they can hold your payments while they make sure your customers are satisfied. I have sold hundreds of things before but i've never had this before. Here it is:
We're committed to providing the fastest, safest payment service on the planet. To keep ourselves on track, we’ll occasionally hold back payments from certain sellers to ensure that their buyers are completely satisfied.
We know this can be a frustrating experience and apologise for the inconvenience; however by doing this, we can keep our prices low by repelling fraudsters who aim to spoil the PayPal service.
Payment Holds
A payment hold is when we take a single payment that you’ve received and set it aside while we make sure that your customers are satisfied. The funds for payments received are held temporarily as a pending balance in your account, and released at the end of 21 days. The funds may be released early if PayPal determines that the transaction has been fulfilled and your customers are satisfied.
Why does PayPal hold payments?PayPal holds payments to ensure that sellers have sufficient funds in their account if a customer files a dispute or chargeback.
Holds may also be placed on your account if:- You have a high rate of customer disputes or low eBay feedback
- You have been an eBay and PayPal member for less than 6 months, and have limited selling activity
- You have an eBay feedback score of less than 100 and do not have a record of good performance
- You’re selling on eBay and have a low Detailed Seller Rating (4.5 or below)
- You happen to be selling in a high risk category such as tickets, travel, gift vouchers, computers, electronics or mobile phones
- You have a sudden change in selling activities
They've done it to me because my paypal account is over £50 AND I have started selling again, I haven't done it for over a year.
Just to let you know - now you know you won't panic like I DID!!! LOLI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hey all!
Got an email from dooyoo this morning saying they can't process my payment as I have some locked reviews in my account! It's so annoying, as I have way over the 20,000 needed for the voucher, so the points for the 2 locked reviews would have still been in my account! My OH wrote the reviews when i first started on dooyoo and they are on Fifa 09 and Call of Duty, which I know nothing about so I can't really rewrite them! And what can really be said about fifa 09 now, seen as there is a new one out, but there isnt an option to just delete the review
.
Pretty disheartened now, but think I will just have to bribe my OH to rewrite them (i'll offer him £5 of the £20 voucher lol, he doesn't come cheap!!) and then claim it, then I may give up on it, as it seems a lot of work for what you get, but everyone else seems to find it so easy!
