Love the ebay challenge - but can I be cheeky and do mine for the month of September, got 2 suits of mine to sell, got a bag of clothes from sort out, and dd got a few bits, thou I usually find her summer clothes esp swimwear go better Feb time.

Just been trying to get swimsuit for her to go swimming with the school, its a nightmare, got her some in May - but we've had growth spurts sure she sleeps in a growbag. Off shopping in Torquay nxt week, so head to Primark and see what they have xx

Hope everyone ok, Miss Hoodie is very exicted about the challenge (told white lie and said we didn't do them in summer hols), and has lots of ideas and plans!!

Miss Hoodie is in a strop, feel sorry for her, were down in Devon, and the idea was saw airshow yesterday, but weather was carp, so we sat outside the caravan and saw wack of it, and then tonight the next town has an evening carnival, and we had planned to go down, but its been awful, wet, heavy rain patches, you'd have to get there for 4pm, for 7.30 start, - so as we said no its too wet, she went off in a strop, last seen hideing under the bed, (Whisky use to do that on last day of the hols), so left her with mum, and come out with dad for a pint and game of bingo xx

got a load of stuff to list on sunday evening, so I am going to try for the platinum I think Jammy
remember people...apparently sunday evenings are one of the best times to have an auction ending as more people are in the house watching, therefore more bidders! so get listing tomorrow night. Mind you some people say don't list when it's a free listing promotion as more people list so then there's more competition!!!
I can't wait for christmas, I looked at my list and I think I was getting a bit carried away so I'm trying to cut back a bit. Got 30 sainsburys vouchers in post for nothing today, forgot to change home insurance so it automatically renewed and they give u 30 vouchers which I didn't know about so that was a nice surprise. Also have quite a few tesco vouchers which I'm going to double up and get some of my dd's christmas presents with.
Thinking of christmas, the best bit for me is having all the presents bought and watching every one run around frantically, whilst we enjoy ourselves doing nice family things xx
I think I need to get christmas with the cranks out and have a watch soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    where i'm at:
    Boots 11.00
tesco 40 pounds which will double to 80
    sainsburys 30 pounds vouchers
    ipsos about 400 points
toluna 52,000 (very near redeeming 10 pounds)
    panelbase 4.00
    lightspeed, 6 pound ish
one poll, not even worth mentioning (about a pund!)
    ebay/ paypal - 0
    topcashback - 9.50

want to try and get all my surveys up to 10 pound redeems in the next month and I have to remember to buy a new mattress this month too and go through topcashback first!
this week, going to try ebay, cex and music magpie. aiming for about 250 pounds for everything I have to flog
husband gets a bonus this month, he wants to keep a hundred to get his back windows on his car tinted and he said I can have rest, if I take out 200 and put away me and my dad are going to go almost halfers on his ipad for christmas...then I'm only going to spend about 20/30 pounds on daft little things, smellies, chocs, dvd's etc. Then that's him sorted and neutral. The biggest hits to my budget at christmas is normally the amount we spend on each other, meaning me and my husband.

ooh I'M EXCITED for the 24th now mum2one.
  • Roll on the 24th, I missed these challenges, they really helped me keep motivated.

I have managed to collect a few hundred in vouchers, which should help pay for Christmas and Birthdays, lost the will to do reviews but I may dedicate a day to getting some done, I was doing five reviews a day before but I don't seem to have the time these days.

Need to sort out some things for ebay and list them as it's free listing weekend, is it easy to open a sellers account if you have a buyers account do you know?

Savvy, the only thing extra is link your paypal account. I'm not sure as it's been a while since I did it, but it might do it automatically. If you have a problem you could always pay the ebay fees with a one off payment instead of re-occurring billing (when they take the fees automatically).

It's easy enought to do anyway - I did it, so it can't be hard! LOL

It's lovely to see you back.

When you list something go up to the top right hard corner where it says sell, and then choose quick sell - it's so much easier if you are new to it. Any problems PM me, I'll be glad to help.

  • Thanks Elysia, I think I have a sellers account but not sure if my paypal is linked so hopefully that should be easy to sort out, I heard a while back that for people setting up new accounts had to fax paperwork and speak to paypal over the phone etc (could be my memory playing up mind lol).

Have been busy sorting out a few things to list to get me started, then hubby keeps asking me to do things for him whilst he made dinner, and my daughter was screeching at me so I packed it all away in the cupboard again. Hopefully I can list a few things tomorrow.

Was going to have a bath to relax and paint my nails but hubby has announced he wil be in there 'for sometime'

Looking at the christmas crafts bits and bobs might give some a go, need something to keep me occupied before I come out from my dormant state and erupt :rotfl:

Glad it helped Giggles :) Have you managed to write any reviews yet? I wrote 5 last night and I'll try to get 5 more done tonight, so that will be £5. Then I'll just plod on with it in multiples of 10.

I added £4 to my 'Christmas collection' jar today. I was doing some laundry and was checking in all the pockets for tissues etc and I found 4 pound coins in DH's trousers. He hasn't mentioned them so he's probably totally forgotten about them, so they are now in my jar :p

    How's everyone else doing?

Ive just got round to trying to do some now and am finally able to do it! yay! Cant thank you enough! Going to try do 10 today then see if I can so 5ish a day like you, seems like a good tactic.

I have recently started a 2nd part time job in a pub/restaurant so have decided to just put the tips into a moneybox rather than my purse. We get a few pounds here or there so I knew that if I just put them in my purse I would spend it on nothing inparticular! Anyway Ive been there about a month now and I counted my money box and have just over £50 so VERY happy about this!

Ive also seen some people saying how they have spreadsheets with christmas presents on so they can tally the cost. I had a written list but not one on the computer so decided to start transfering my list over to the computer! So far I have written up the woman and for 31 women I have spent £70ish pounds on £400 worth of stuff (the full price) woohoo! Alot was bought in the sales, some was bought with Boots points and come with vouchers Ive got. Just need to find time to transfer the men on to the spreadsheet now!

Oh the ebay challenge sounds great! Need to find some time to do it I thinK!
