Susan - so glad your son is okay, I bet it was frightening at the time

Thanks to everyone who suggested Netmums for finding days out, I spent ages on there last night and now I've got lots of great ideas for the summer holidays. Quite a few of them are free too, so even better. It means we can have a few more costly days out and the free days balance it out :) On Netmums I found out there is a teddy bear's picnic at our local country park. It's free, we just have to take our own picnic and teddy bears (and ds of course!), they have all sorts organised - an entertainer, face painting and a teddy parade! I can't wait! :rotfl:

Today I got 20p on One Poll and 2000ish points on Toluna just doing their quick polls.

I mentioned netmums, it is such a great site and good that it is split into local areas that all mums post about things happening. I love it :)

Thank you for all your kind words about DS , he`s fine but apparently one of the lads that was sleeping in the back car is upset... DS said he woke up and said what did we stop for after they pulled over in the hard shoulder and cut the engine.

His mother phoned up gave DS a hard time and then asked for his insurance details for the boy to make a claim....she suppose to be ringing me back when i`m in .....we `re not sure what the claims for as the boys father phoned up and thanked DS for his quick thinking and not not crashing....

Dont know what to make of that.....:(

I would imagine that she was just shocked at the event and its just a kneejerk reaction to her son almost being in a horrible accident. I am sure she will soon calm down. Your son was a quick thinker who actually took control of a dangerous situation and you should be proud.

Just checked quidco and it's a very poor payout this month!

I have just over £200 tracked, nearly £40 validated and only £15.46 to be paid.

I have £13.20 in valued opinions (waiting to clear).

    I have £12.65 in Onepoll.

I can't check Toluna as it's down for maitenence but I think I'm up to 54,000.

I have given up on freebie scratchcards.

    Dooyoo I'm at £16.94

    Not doing too well lately.

    Hi all,

Ok, I’m back, and I NEED to earn some additional money! (Holiday’s next year!!)

You’re all doing SO fantastically!! I need to set up a spreadsheet….any tips?

Thanks for the info on Dooyoo – I didn’t realise the points had changed either!!!

    What’s Bingoport?

I saw on someone’s signature that they were doing a £10 a day challenge?? I can’t remember for the life of me who was doing it, but wondered if any of you knew anything about it?!

Susan – glad your DS is ok!! Blimey… I agree with elysia & Nicky though about someone trying to make a few quid! Honestly… You don’t need that.

Need to find some things to ebay me thinks....

Clare - bingoport is a free bingo site. You earn a £5.00 Amazon voucher every time you reach a certain amount of Points (I think 10,000). You earn 1,000 points by posting on the forum (10 times) each day (you can post more if you like (but don't get any extra points plus it's boring, not like this one). You also have to play 2,000 points worth of bingo eah week. (play 5 games, each with 18 tickets everyday, and that should cover you). You should get £5 every two/three weeks or so. It's just so boing!

I must start - I said I would when the kids broke up, so thanks for reminding me. xxx

Forgot to mention Clare - there should be a spreadsheet in post one somewhere. I got mine from here, you just alter it to fit your needs. (I hope it's still there, I haven't checked)!

Thanks for the reminder about Bingoport, I signed up ages ago but never really did much with it. I'll make it my challenge to give it another go.

got £5 from BP yesterday. I do agree that the posting is a bit tedious but you can just play the bingo on auto as you post. Its hard some times when there arent many new posts to reply to.

I have a quick question about Bingoport. I went on last night and posted some messages in the new members forum, but no points have been credited to my account. Does it take a while for them to appear. If it does then that's fine, I just didn't want to keep posting messages and get no points for them as I was doing it wrong! Also, is there a minimum word count for messages? I keep reading they have to be posts 'of substance' but no word minimum is mentioned. If I post something like 'Hello and welcome, hope you have lots of fun here!', would that get the points? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Nicky I think they should have a minimum of 50 characters, so you should be fine. Whenever i've been on the points for posting are added instantly. I haven't been on for a couple of months so it may have changed.

I'll go and have a try and report back. Will be a couple of minutes.

Yep. It went on instantly Nicky. If you go into your profile and scroll right to the bottom, there's a chart with all the points you've earned or spent on. RECENT REWARD POINTS TRANSACTIONS. You will see yesterdays date, and if the points aren't on there that you earned, I would email them. They sorted out a problem with my Amazon voucher instantly the only time I have to contact them, so they're very good.
